Trying to find a famous artist to compare to a literary work…?
For my senior english project I’m trying to find a famous artist whose life (or an event in their life), runs parallel with a theme, motif, idea or plot of one of the stories we read in english this year. Since I’ll be presenting this project to a group of high school students, I would like to use an artist that is pretty well known so the class will be able to understand a little easier. Can anyone think of an artist I could use? I’ve been searching for hours and it’s becoming very overwhelming…

I was convinced he liked me?
My friends all thought so, and I really didnt believe it until I look back and think he did.
But in a random conversation about his friends, he said i was "friend material". Is there anything that could change his mind?
I can’t make a move b’cause it all goes round and a friendship / relationship is between two people not the world.

He always comes str88 up to me and hugs me and tlks to me, and jokes and teases me.
All the signs are there, and we’ve had the huge flirting stage.

But I think he’s put off!
Some random girl gave him her number yesterday and he’s been texting her but he’s out of texts now and he changed how he was acting before that..

I realise I missed a chance, and that I’m too late, but is there anything I can do to make me less "friend material" and more "girlfreind material" ??

It is this difference that makes me prefer Quadrophenia, though it is somewhat rougher and less polished than Tommy. I think Quadrophenia is far more multifaceted and multilayered. There is much going on in that head of Jimmy’s. Whereas Tommy is the pinball wizard, but that’s about the apex of depth to which Tommy is able to ascend.

Tommy is great entertainment, but for my money, Quadrophenia is a better film and album.

Jane Doe (2001)

Controlling Girlfriend never stops yelling and complaining?
I have been with Jane Doe for 7 years now. She was passionate in the beginning and I needed her in every way. She is still there for me, BUT puts her two cents into everything. She tells me when I should pick up my children, where I should take them, how I should handle ANY situation regarding my mother, what I should do in almost every situation. She has a problem with my children ( from another marriage ) she yells at them all the time, and she only sees them twice a month at best. She complains about literally everything I do. If these is literally a crumb on the floor, she will rant and rave about it, and tell me just how hard she works. She is cleaning every minute I an with her. Its obsessive. She tells me that she has no time to do anything else cause the house needs attention. I hired a maid, and that was not good enough. I did the cleaning myself, and that was not good enough. If she is sleeping at 9PM and my kids are staying over, she will scream at me and them if we so much as laugh at the TV and disturbe her. She tries to help at times, but gets in the way. Her boss at work told her that she has to stop interfering with co-workers cause they are complaining. She does the same with my parents who are elderly. There is no joy around her. She is always going at it. We cant have a weekend with my kids where there is spontanious fun. She brings us all down. They said that they feel sorry for me, cause when I drop them off at their mother, I have to go back home to the hell. Everyone tells me, wow, how do you deal with it man. She is always PMSing, them says sorry after everyone is effected. Her ruins special events and gathering cause she tells me she doesnt want the people around anyway, and contributes to it going wrong. I cant say boo w/o her commenting and telling me it needs to be done differently. The same approach goes on with her family. She is in everybodies business. She was never like this, and it is only getting worse. This is no life. she was there for me in the past, and a good friend, but now I cant even do something nice for her, w/o setting her off in some way. I dont even want to go near her anymore. I live with her, and its 90% sad, 10% ok..we are constantly going at it. She tells me she cant live w/o me, but then 5 minutes later, she is right back at the crap. I am exhausted by it, and the passion is going fast. I buy her things, and rather than saying thank you, she says, ok, leave it there. Or why did you spend your money on that stuff. I cant win. WHAT^ WOULD YOU DO?????

Need help with an alt for WoW. Warrior,Palli or DK?
ok so i have an 80 lock im i just got a hunter to 80 too both are geared out from icecrown cit but im deciding between an alt between either Warrior,Pally,Death Knight i have 2 80’s so i know about each class to a certain extent so you dont need to explain it like ive never hear of WoW before but i plan to if i do dk im doing pvp warrior i will ds and do both and pally ill do pvp ive got a full set of heirlooms axe,chest,shoulders,trinkets, but i cant decide which one to play id like to say im leaning towards warrior but im not sure because they are tedious to level till we get MS but id like some posatives and negatives of people who have 80’s or at least know what they are talking about thanks.

1. Warrior
Pros: superior damage mitigation, easy rotations, good single target threat
Cons: very little self healing /w conventional talent specs, hard to maintain aggro on multiple mobs

2. DK
Pros: superior self healing through blood spec, able to do good dps and tank at same time
Cons: tank rotation takes skill to master, poor damage mitigation

3. Paladin
Pros: superior self healing, good damage mitigation, superior multi-mob aggro
Cons: takes skill to master spells

I’m guessing you’re looking to PvP with the new toon, so my recomendation would be a DK because: they start at 55 which would save you some leveling time, In blood spec you do a ton of damage "and" healing at the same time which greatly increases your survivability, also death grip is an awesome move in capture the flag type BGs.
