dam n dude i am so glad i caught this, i have been stuck in a rut with worry about meter and rhyme and syllable count and all that crap when your words reminded me of the true poet’s calling: to put emotion to words strong enough to hit the reader with its impact on a gut level. thanks for the heads up. will read more of your stuff from now on.
