Who gives the toast at a wedding?
I think it should be the best man and maid of honor, but do the fathers get to speak too?
Best man first then anyone.

Usually it’s the best man. I’ve never heard of a maid of honor giving a toast. Your father can speak and offer a toast if you two agree to do it that way. I’ve been to several weddings where more than one person offered a toast, but never a female. I’ve known the best man to offer the first toast or the last, never both.

Traditionally, the best man. Less traditionally, I’ve seen the maid/matron of honor and sometimes the father of the bride and/or groom, and even the bride and/or groom themselves.
On rare occasions, it becomes like "open mic night." Ughhh!!!
More than two toasts is too many. Guests start to get bored, and nobody’s comfortable, unless you come from a large family of accomplished speakers.

Usually the maid of honour, best man, master of ceremonies, parents and the bride & groom make a toast. That is what I’ve seen at all the weddings I’ve attended.

Often the groom will give a toast to his bride and also the Best Man. At the request of a parent it is quite acceptable for a father or mother to give a toast as well. There are no strict rules any long to what one wishes to do at their own wedding.
